The 200th chapter of Kingdom!
Although, seeing as we didn’t start from the first chapter we’ve technically only scanlated 183 chapters in 188 days.
Still, I feel like celebrating a bit!
For those that’re interested, we’ve still got another ~150+ chapters to go and about that many days, i.e. end of January 2014.
Also, I’d like to use this space for once to just thank all of you who have commented on this site or thanked us on Batoto and so on. Keep it coming, I need something to read while I redraw shin’s hair. Thanks to all the people that have donated too; We now have all the digital raws up to volume 30 (although I still have yet to get off my arse and rip them).
Now back to grinding FFXIV.
2 hrs late – Gongitraped decided to play dota 2 instead of translating.
fun fact: Using DL accelerators on the server will probably lock you into only downloading one file at a time at a slower speed than downloading normally.
v2 edit: corrected denyuu -> ryuusen on page 209.
Soooo turns out Oshit went loopy in the head and left out the title page for c177, and I can’t get it off him since he’s gone to sleep already. I guess this is what happens when your editor tries to win a headbutting contest against a bus. Rather then delaying the release by a day just for one missing page, I’m sure you’d all prefer to read the (slightly gimped) release now and download the v2 for c177 tomorrow.
Added title page to chapter 177.
Also, Thanks to everyone who offered to help out with cleaning and welcome Acayla and Firstblood116 to our outfit.
Back to scanlating Kingdom solo.
We plan on keeping to our normal schedule / 8 chapters a week anyway.
We’re recruiting people to clean speech bubbles so we can do that. (8 chapters takes roughly 2 hrs) To be recruited you will need: A brain. Photoshop (now free). Hands are preferable but not necessary. Send us an email at email@example.com or pm our batoto account if you’d like to help out.
Thanks to all the people who offered to help out, A lot more than we expected so soon.
Also here’s a v2 of c168 (forgot what we fixed though…)
